This is just something I made back in high school when I had Sibelius. It's supposed to be an instrumental re-visioning of Information Society's "Pure Energy." I always intended on expanding it, but ended up only writing the main theme and the ending chorale, and since I no longer own Sibelius, there's nothing I can do about it
My friend Michael and I convinced Jeff, a friend of ours, to read from a strange script we developed, telling him it was an assignment for my upcoming film school application, where I would have to write a report on how I would direct it. His reaction to learning that he was videotaped the whole time (I have a Macbook so the camera was built-in and very unobtrusive) was significantly more profane than what made the final cut, but we had to leave it out. Enjoy!
Don't wait until the last minute to finish a research paper. Seriously. That being said, enjoy this lesson on the incalculable benefit of owning an mp3 player.
Something I whipped up in 5 days. This one I actually wrote "from the ground up" (no using pre-written loops Garageband is generous enough to provide). It's me learning how to count to 9... Haha, try and bear with the repetition, because I kinda like a bit of what's going on within it.
Woot! I'm super-stoked to be a part of the Dorm Life community, and I can't wait until February 4th! There is a slight problem, however. Every time I try and add a photo as a background in the "create my own theme" feature, I get a smaller window displaying the photos I have uploaded for said purpose, but my entire browser window subsequently dims and prevents me from selecting anything. The only way I am able to click out of this is to close the tab or navigate to a different page. Any words of wisdom to help get me past this troublesome time?
My first composition with Garageband. Try not to mind the random samples in the midsection, as well as the horrendous voice recording that pops up here and there. This project was more of a feeling out of Garageband and its looping capabilities. I'm currently in the process of writing (genuinely, not just loop mixing) an instrumental ska song as well, due out indefinitely
